Preregistered systematic review planned for completion as part of Undergraduate Final Year Project at NTU (Academic Year: 2022-23) The primary objective of this systematic review is to evaluate the quality of evidence supporting CBT treatment, with or without pharmacotherapy, for selective mutism in young children aged 4 to 10 years old. This review also aims to evaluate the quality of evidence for CBT conducted with pharmacotherapy in relation to treatment schedule. The updated preregistration documents include refinements to the search protocol after piloting, as well as clarifications to some data items allow inclusion of case studies and small sample reports in the qualitative synthesis of evidence, to align more closely with the Cochrane Risk of Bias Tool, and clarify the interpretation of some data items. The updated Preregistration, Codebook and Appendices are combined into one document.
