Description

Videocall Storytime is a protocol for recording a parent-child interaction remotely, by displaying a picture book onscreen during a videocall. Following the outbreak of COVID-19 in Singapore in early 2020, social distancing rules prevented home visits and in-lab testing. This remote testing technique was developed by our team of experienced developmental psychologists and linguists, to allow families to participate in studies on language development from their own homes.
