Biography

Le Chencheng joined the Asian School of the Environment (ASE) as a lecturer, specifically hired to teach the interdisciplinary ICC course Sustainability – Society, Economy and Environment. Before ASE, Chencheng was a research fellow at Nanyang Environment & Water Research Institute (NEWRI), Nanyang Technological University (NTU), supporting Singapore’s national water and environmental priorities. He graduated as a valedictorian of his environmental engineering class at NTU with a Ph.D. and a Bachelor of Science (Honours) degree in chemistry from the National University of Singapore. In addition to his teaching and academic work, he works closely with sustainability-related NGOs and science-related business organisations.
