Wei Xing Toh

Dr. Wei Xing (Noah) Toh is an Assistant Professor in the Division of Psychology at Nanyang Technological University. Prior to his current appointment, he was the recipient of the HASS International Postdoctoral Scholarship, and completed his postdoctoral training at Stanford University (USA). His research interests primarily focus on the contribution of self-regulatory processes (e.g., executive functions, emotion regulation) toward well-being, and how these processes unfold with advancing age. A second line of research explores psychosocial outcomes associated with technology use (e.g., smartphones, video games, etc.). Importantly, the outcomes of his research program could potentially inform intervention programs and policies that aim to improve the quality of life across adulthood.
