Abstract

A Sc(OTf)₃-catalyzed reaction of vinyl azides with donor-acceptor cyclopropanes affords highly functionalized azidocyclopentanes in a diastereoselective fashion. The resulting azidocyclopentanes could be transformed into various cyclic scaffolds.
