Abstract

The corrosion of production facilities in the lake shoals was surveyed. The corrosion of A3 steel in atmosphere was grade HE i. e. , slight corrosion, and in soil was grade lie., weak corrosion. The water was neutral fresh water having a small amount of salt, i. e. , low electric conductivity and high oxygen content, in which the corrosion of A3-'steel was grade HI i. e. , relatively severe corrosion. The existing localized corrosion mainly resulted from improper design of the platforms.
