Abstract

The synthesis of an amphiphilic ABA triblock copolymer capped with C 60 at both ends via atom transfer radical polymerization (ATRP) was investigated. C60 was successfully incorporates at both ends of the polymer chain via azido cycloaddition. The monoaddition to fullerene was confirmed using thermogravimetric analysis (TGA) and spectrophotometric analysis. The formation of micelle was supported by surface tension, static light scattering, and AFM studies.
