Abstract

The indium-mediated allylation reaction of aldehydes with 1,1,1 -trifluor and bromo-2-butene in water afforded an important trifluoromethylated building black β-trifluoromethylated homoallylic alcohol with high yield and excellent diastereoselectivity.
