Abstract

SERS them right: Ag/C nanoparticles (see figure; red line) and Ag/Ag/C nanoclusters (blue line) were synthesized as platforms for surface-enhanced Raman scattering (SERS). The results showed that the Ag/Ag/C nanoclusters led to great enhancement of the Raman signals for methyl benzenethiol molecules.
