Abstract
This paper presents results on essential and helpful features hypertext authoring tools should have to provide better support and automated help to hypertext authors. It also discusses a successful implementation of a new hypermedia design tool that makes the complex authoring process simpler and guarantees generation of well-structured hypertext documents.
