Abstract
We report a simple and facile route for preparing nano-Sn-C composite anodes by immobilizing plant polyphenol stabilized-Sn nanoparticles onto carbon nanotubes (CNTs). The as-prepared nano-Sn-CNTs were used as high performance anode materials in lithium ion batteries, which exhibited high reversible capacity and rate capability.
