Abstract
CoFe2O4@SiO2@Y2O3:Tb3+ nanocomposites with the core-shell structure are obtained by a three-step method. Due to the effects of the magnetic CoFe2O4 core, not only luminescent intensity, but also luminescent color has been influenced much. The luminescence property of the composites is influenced with the changes of calcination temperature, the doping of Tb3+ and the mass of CoFe2O4@SiO2. The composites have the strongest luminescent intensity when the calcination temperature is 700 °C. These nanocomposites display different ferromagnetic properties, such as remanence (Mr) and coercivity (Hc) with tuning the calcination temperature.
