abstract = "A millimeter-wave monopole antenna model is presented in this paper. A size reduction of the quarter-wavelength antenna is demonstrated using the carbon nanotube quantum effects and more precisely its kinetic inductance to low down the propagation velocity through the tube. This 3-D approach offers a high potential of compactness for the increase of frequency at the W-band and above. A comparison of performance with existing monopole antenna made by gold will be done.",
