Abstract
Nanostructured zinc oxide fibers fabricated by vapor transport method were investigated. The nanofibers exhibited vertically and horizontally aligned morphologies in different temperature regions. Vapor-liquid-solid mechanism was used to investigate the growth process of the fibers. The fibers also exhibited a low field emission threshold, high current density, and high field enhancement factor.
