Abstract

Hot Rod: Using the reprecipitation method, microrods of 2,5-dibromo-3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene (DBEDOT) were prepared in aqueous solution. The as-synthesized microrods were found to polymerize in aqueous solution after heated at 75 °C for 4 hours.
