Abstract

Triflimide (Tf₂NH) specifically catalyzed reactions of alcohols and vinyl azides, enabling efficient construction of amides with C-C bond formation through nucleophilic attack of vinyl azides onto the putative carbocation intermediates derived from alcohols are described.
