Abstract
When I started in August 2019 a research project funded by the Social Science Research Council (SSRC) in Singapore to study the problem of online falsehoods, I thought that the problem had already peaked. Working with a diverse group of coinvestigators from the Wee Kim Wee School of Communication and Information (WKWSCI) as well as with several international collaborators and student-researchers from secondary schools, junior high schools, and the Nanyang Technological University (NTU) in Singapore, I sought to examine how various stakeholders in Singapore define, determine, and deal with online falsehoods.
