Abstract

The fabrication of transparent lead lanthanum zirconate titanate (PLZT) ceramics from their constituent oxide mixture treated by a high-energy ball milling process was discussed. X-ray diffraction (XRD) analysis of the powders were performed using Rigaku ultima+diffractometer with CuKα radiation. The optical of the annealed PLZT ceramics were measured. Tdielectric constant, remanent polarization and coersive field of the ceramics were found to be 3120, 22μC/cm2 and 10 KV/cm, respectively.
