Abstract

The performance of turbo product codes has been studied extensively by Hall et. al. and Zhang et. al for additive white Gaussian noise channels and for frequency-hopping systems experiencing narrow band interference. In this paper, we present the performance of Chase decoding algorithm for turbo product code transmitted over flat-fading channels with pulse jamming. The upper bound and lower bound of turbo product codes transmitted over such channels are deduced and compared with the corresponding simulation results.
