Abstract

The synthesis and structural characterisation of two novel clusters, Os₆(μ₅-Sb)(μ-H)₂(μ-SbPh ₂)(μ₃, η²-C₆H ₄)(CO)₁₇, 2, and Ru₆(μ₅-Sb) (μ-H)₃ (CO)₁₈(SbPh₃), 3, are presented. They are the first examples of osmium and ruthenium clusters containing a naked μ₅-Sb atom.
