It examines the Web-based services used by the elderly; investigates their perception of the Web and study their willingness and/or reluctance to adopt the technology. This study shows that the elderly have a positive perception towards Internet use. However, physical health and well-being and usability issues are seen as potential barriers to the use of Web. This paper concludes with a discussion on the aged, information technology and the Web.
