Biography

Christopher Trigg is an Assistant Professor in the Division of English. He received a PhD in English and an MA in Medieval Studies from the University of Toronto. He also holds an MA in Anglo-Saxon, Norse and Celtic from the University of Cambridge. His research explores religion in American literature, culture, and politics, with a special focus on the colonial period. His first monograph, To Walk the Earth Again: The Politics of Resurrection in Early America, is forthcoming in January 2023 with Oxford University Press.
